Ryuji Kamata Joined Minolta Co., Ltd. (now Konica Minolta, Inc.) in 1999. He began his career in the information equipment business, working in production engineering for parts processing and key components.

In 2011, he was assigned to the Wuxi plant in China, where he took on responsibilities not only in engineering but also in plant management.
From 2014, he led company-wide production planning initiatives, driving the optimization of global manufacturing site structures and the development and execution of global production strategies. He also played a leading role in planning and promoting a digital manufacturing initiative centered on data utilization.

In 2024, he was appointed Executive Officer and became General Manager of the Production & Procurement Division for the Information Equipment Business, overseeing overall production and procurement operations. In 2026, he was appointed Corporate Executive Officer.

He currently leads group-wide production and procurement strategies, promoting supply chain resilience and overall optimization in response to geopolitical risks and changes in the market environment. He is responsible for strengthening the production and procurement foundations that support business competitiveness and sustainable growth.
